Brothers and sisters, when trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy.  For when your faith is tested, your endurance has an opportunity to grow.  Let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything.  James 1:2 – 4




Training body.  Walking on the horse.  Trainer says stand up in the saddle.  Clinch thighs and rear.  Remember, Indians rode with legs, shooting arrows with arms.  Ouch.  Who could have thought it could be so difficult?  Training muscles to remember things yet learned.

Training mind.  Encountering problems.  Issues.  Conflicts.  Jesus says stay in the saddle.  Your anguish will turn to joy.  Ouch.  Who could have thought this could be so difficult?  Training thought patterns to smooth the rough edge.
